Handyman pricing questions
What is your hourly rate?
$80 an hour for handyman work, with a 2-hour minimum ($160). Parts and materials are extra.
Can I fill the two hours with several small jobs?
Yes, and that's the smart way to do it. Make a list of everything that's been bugging you. Use the honey-do list builder on this page to see what fits.
How much does TV mounting cost?
A flat $160 for TVs up to 60 inches, and $250 or more for bigger TVs. Mounting on brick or stone is extra. Hiding the cables inside the wall is $100 to $150, on interior walls only.
How much is a toilet replacement?
A flat $225 to take out the old toilet and set the new one. The toilet itself is extra, or you can buy the one you like and we install it.
Do you give discounts on longer jobs?
On longer jobs we can talk about it. Every job is different, so we work that out on the phone before we come out.
Do you bring the parts?
We can pick them up, or you can buy the fixture, fan or faucet you like and we install it. Parts go on the bill.
Do you do electrical and plumbing?
Yes. Fixtures, fans, switches, outlets and new circuits, plus faucets, toilets, disposals and water heater replacement. Quick fixes are billed hourly. Bigger jobs like a water heater or a new circuit are quoted.
